Kia Ora everyone welcome back to my blog post.
Today I am doing another blog post about my word of the week. This week we got to choose our own word of the week I choose unexpected.

Room 9 have been learning to fix punctuation like capitals going at the start of a sentence, repeated words and spelling. The reason we are learning about surface features is because Mrs T wants us to improve our story's by fixing our spelling, p and repeated words An example is ;thissentsaChulymakessen Zbuttisrellyhrd to read, This is what you call a surface feature.
On our Room 9 writing site our teacher put on a link to a story we needed to fix. We made our on copy. We had to read it once and find the end of the sentence.
Reading 1
Find the ends of the sentences.
To do this:
Look for each time a person or thing is mentioned again.
Look for when a new piece of information is given.
Think about where you pause to make sense of what you are reading.
Reading 2
Highlight the most repeated word.
Can you fix it?
Reading 3
Does this feel easier to read now?
How many sentences start the same way?
He kept absolutely still as the footsteps got louder he tried not to suffocate as he laid under the bed he was wondering what had happened to his brother and his family. The man with the knife in his hand stormed around the house. Mum's had boyfriends before but we had not thought that they would ever find us maybe he was one of them looking for revenge but why would he come. mum would just move and how did he find us we live on the other side of the planet from where all of mum's boyfriends were so how could he find us he might have put a tracker on mum when he last saw her or on one of the devices ‘Hello where are you I know your here you're going to tell me where you're mother is or you shall join your father... in the skies so which will it be death or freedom you have 10 seconds chose wisely’.
Some of these haven't got punctuation and some of them aren't spelled correctly because I wasn't here yesterday and didn't have enough time to finish it today.

Today i'm doing the word of the week again we had to choose our own word of the week because Mrs T A.K.A Miss D wasn't here, The word that I choose for the word of the week was Remarkable It means something unusual.
Hello everyone,
Today I am going to be sharing with you about my Fia Fia performance for Pācifica, There were lots of adults that taught use as some point one the were named Molly she was really nice and pretty there was also another older lady Nuu's mum and there where two others witch stayed our teachers for the whole thing Miss Clifford and Miss Harris.
The things that I got to wear was a really pretty light baby blue lava lava with pretty flower decorations and a cute flower hat also some of the things my best friend were wearing is a pinky purple flower hat and a beautiful white dress and my other best friend was a black t-shirt and a flower lava lava.
I was also really happy that there was really yum food like pizza and coconut balls it taste really good when me and my friends were about to eat sadly the adults had to eat first but i'm still happy they left some for use.

Today I am going to be doing a writing blog post, room 9 are doing lots of cool things for writing the things that we are doing are language features some of the language features are hyperbole, onomatopoeia, metaphor and more my favorite on is probably the hyperbole.
Here is my amazing work.
7-9-2020
I see: giant waves my surfboard, giant foam, water, kids splashing around, dogs running around.
I hear: seagulls chirping, the ocean waves, kids screaming and playing, dogs barking.
I taste: sea salt in my mouth, the smell of fish, seaweed.
I smell: fish, animal poo, sea salt, food, bbq, kids.
I feel: freezing cold water, my warm wet suit,soft sand and the bottom of the water, hard shells, strong waves.
I wonder: if theres any sharks, weird creatures at the bottom of the sand, if anyone had died at this beach.
I was at the beach about to go surfing, I wanted to test the water to see how could it was but as soon as I touched the water felt deadly it almost felt like if you put your head under it well be ice in a second.
Thankfully I remembered to bring my warm cozy wet suit. As I put it on I got warm in a instint.
When I touched the water once again with my warm wet suit it just felt normal. I could hear the ocean splashing loudly as if someone done a giant belly flop in the sea from off a plane.

A lot of people know what creative means if you don't this is what it means, when you make some thing and and what ever you made looks really good someone one might see it and say wow your really creative.
